Healthy choices PSHE lesson. A one-hour long, very detailed, fully resourced PSHE lesson suitable for KS2. This lesson has been created for Year 3, however, the contents of the lesson are suitable for students across KS2. In this lesson, the students will discuss what it means to ‘be healthy’. We will look at healthy and unhealthy food choices, including the reasons why eating too much junk food is bad for you. We will also discuss healthy lifestyle choices such as staying physically active, limiting screen time, handwashing and taking care of our oral health. The lesson includes an information sheet, a video clip task, a ‘healthy or unhealthy’ memory game task, a healthy choices questionnaire, a reflection activity and a plenary task.
